GVSU currently doesn't require domestic students to provide evidence that they're covered by health insurance. However, we strongly encourage all of our students to be insured.

- Healthy Michigan Plan

The Health Insurance Exchange is where people without health insurance can find information and purchase insurance. Call 1-800-318-2596 or visit the 网站. - GVSU Blue Cross Blue Shield Student Plan: GVSU will no longer offer the voluntary Blue Cross Blue Shield Student Plan because rising costs have made it more expensive for students.

This insurance is accepted but is new to the 校园健康中心. Meaning the CHC is unable to verified electronically.

- it's important to connect with LewerMark to ensure your diagnosis is covered prior to your visit.
- Insurance requires a referral to be sent to them (this is unique to LewerMark) for certain specialty offices such as physical 治疗. The referral also needs to be signed by only a doctor (MD or DO only) for it to be approved.
